MSCCA is led by former Malaysian, Fr Roy Pereira. We received the blessing of the Auxiliary Bishop of Perth, the Most Rev. Donald Sproxton at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on the 20th February 2010.
Our mission is to promote spiritual, cultural and social programmes among the expatriate community. We aim to support, prepare and fund youths for continuous World Youth Day celebrations, reach out to underpriviledged youths through caring, spiritual growth and faith, a source of comfort, solace and strength to new migrants, assist, support and work closely with all like ministries and movements nationally and globally and bear witness to Christian belief, value and faith.
We are a multicultural and vibrant organisation and we are open to anyone who wish to have a sense of belonging within our community. We are also a Eucharistic people based on Catholic faith and tradition and we trust our Ministry in the hands of our good Lord to lead us into the signs of the time.
We are currently working hand-in-hand with the Daydawn Advocacy Centre (Aboriginal Project realised by the Archbishop) in looking into the needs of our underpriviledged Indigenous community.
We are also in partnership with the ACCESS Programme Indigenous Aerospace initiative which is an engagement tool for educationally at risk youths.
As quoted by Bishop Don Sproxton; Malaysia/Singapore is a multi-ethnic socieity with rich religious experiences and so we should share them with our children and other Australians.
